In 2023, seven cities/counties in South Korea were demonstrating use cases of goods delivery by drones. Selected cities received subsidies from the government according to the scale and type of drone service testing. 15 cities across the country were chosen for drone testing that year. Demonstrations ranged from delivery to firefighting services and even drone sports.
